welderman - 1/1/10 at 11:01 PM

Anyone else going, my lovely wife has booked us and the kids a 3 day family pass for my Birthday, includes us camping, watching practice, etc, and ive got a platinum ticket for Luffield for the race.
Wondered if any others were going.

Being 40 on Boxing Day has its advantages, just paid for my cruise the other day too, Disneyland for the kids then on the Freedom of the seas, i cant wait. This year is going to be busy.

I'll be there for the whole weekend (prob from thurs night)
we always camp on the litchlake farm site and will be in luffield again. but not on a platinum ticket, its the standing room only section in front of luffield B for us.
SOOOO happy its staying at silverstone for the long run. this has been an annual pilgrimage that would not be as good at any other circuit in the UK.
can't wait

Quality! Will the sump hold out for then?

How much work to do on the single seater?

Which tracks are you going to do ? Oulton again?

slow down fella! its only the first day of the year and you've managed to book up every spare minute!
I end up in the dog house if my hobbies take up more than 2 weekends in a row which is why i wont have attempted IVA till june 2011 at the earliest

been thinking of doing the cruise thing but not sure if my kids would enjoy it. they are 4 +1/2 and 2 +1/2, so by the summer they'll be 5 + 3. never done a cruise before, are they worth it for kids that young?

Wife really wants to go on a cruise.

I refused to go, I'm a poor swimmer, won't catch me on one of those boats.

I've seen Titanic..............

its a first cruise for me, even though as a child i spent most of my life at sea, my dad was a chief engineer for a large shipping company. The wife hates flying and traveling so its going to be fun, but we are all looking forward to it, my kids are 11 and 7, but not sure if yours are too young as like i said its a first for me, theres lots to do though.

The wife booked the F1 thing, and ive got the track day bug, she just gave me the ye right smile when i told her i wanted to do 5 track days this year, lol.

Fancy cadwel park and Anglesy track days

Oh and Sue has seen the ship sinking film and plane crashing films, she is going to as the doctor for some strange happy/relaxing pills for the flight,

once i've finished my car, anglesey will be my regular destination. we have got a holiday lodge about 15 mins from the track and on a still day or when the wind is in the right direction you can hear the cars and bikes flying round.
unless the jets are flying out of valley RAF when you cant hear anything but trainee pilots giving it some welly. cool

nice one, get it on track asap, you will love it.
Carry on with the god work
