genius absolute genius love it had a listen to the v10 sounds even better.

Grimsdale - 30/1/10 at 11:25 AM

am i the only one spotting the flaw? if it's voltage dependent, it's going to vary with electrical load, and wont rev beyond max voltage.... erm about 2000rpm?

adithorp - 30/1/10 at 11:31 AM

It's not voltage dependant. It picks up the revs signal from the alternator output waveform which varies with revs... or something like that...
Don't ask me for more explanation than that... 'cos I don't know. Could just as easily be magic. I do know it works as I've a couple of bits of kit here at work that do the same.

Pretty simple. Wire one end to the ign switch or battery and the other to earth.

Im tempted to get one to have in the vans.

What would amke a renault kangoo sound better V8 or V10?
