van + trailor hire or delivered?

if wanting to collect a car on a weekday would i be better to take a day off, hire a van + trailor or to get a car transporting firm to do it? its a damaged car (does not drive) so possibly not the easiest of jobs!also the journey is 140 miles from my house to collection point.

I've just been through the situation, ended up using shiply as with the cost of my time/fuel/trailer hire it was a no brainer really.

many transport companies won't touch broken down cars as it causes a lot of hassle - better check

Advertise it on shiply and see what happens. You don't have to accept anybids.

I take it that its an s2000.... as long as it can be moved around it shouldn't be an issue.
