if wanting to collect a car on a weekday would i be better to take a day off, hire a van + trailor or to get a car transporting firm to do it? its a damaged car (does not drive) so possibly not the easiest of jobs!also the journey is 140 miles from my house to collection point.
I've just been through the situation, ended up using shiply as with the cost of my time/fuel/trailer hire it was a no brainer really.
do you know roughly how much it would be from scunthorpe area to milnthorpe cumbria! DN9 1PN - LA7 7RE
many transport companies won't touch broken down cars as it causes a lot of hassle - better check
its a cat c salvage and has got front quarter damage!
