I'm looking for some 6005 bearings and came across these :
Link 1
they are called 6005 2RSH, what does the H mean? I get the 2 Rubber Seals bit but is this H significant? A lot of 6005-2RS bearings don't have
the H on the end, it is for the application shown BTW, motorcycle wheel bearings.
Any help appreciated, thanks
What do you need them for? Shame I used to work for NSK and had thousands of them lying all over the place. Very popular size.
2RSH is quite a common fitment and is a sealed max speed 9500
The 2RSL has a max speed rating of 16,000
Check
THIS! data sheet out.

Seems to have info on the RSH suffix, seems in essence just to be a continuation of design.

Looking at the SKF data it
seems the last letter relates to speed rating. The 6005-2RSH has a limiting speed of 9500 RPM, the 6005-2RSL has a limiting speed of 16000RPM.
Unless you are going for some kind of land speed record attempt, the H part would be fine for a wheel bearing IMHO.

Just go to the local bearing wholesalers, most towns have one, take the old bearing and ask for the equivelent.
Works everytime, as bearing are a standard worldwide, just the part numbers for manufacturers are not the same.
