£5+ for a 30amp 4 pin switching relay from all the "high street" shops in burton.
Hoping to get some trade discount from halfords, but how come I can get them for a quid of ebay?
Need one for this weekend so needs must.

Because they're probably s**t ones from an unknown source, that some bloke is selling from his shed with no overheads, no customer service, no
public liability cover and probably little warrenty comeback.

fair play, but from my limited knowledge of electrical systems from physics a relay is just an electromagnetic switch, a factory could bang them out
for pence.

we get ours for a pound each from an automotive electrical shop.....
they are good quality......
but we have to buy a tray at a time....20 in a tray...

We went in a seaside cafe in New Brighton the other day and got a full breakfast including a pot of tea for £4.95 each. If they sold relays I bet they
would be 5p each. The breakfast was very good by the way.

I get mine for free from the local scrappy. ranging from small 20 amps to huge 70 amps!
