Wow just been for a 14 mile run since fitting the the new engine
nice sunny day just a little cold on the fingers the new engine is a bit tight at the mo but still wips up the wheels in second going up hill and in
5th it just keeps pulling
The lightend flywheel must be doing its job in allowing the engine to wip up quicker

Go one, why don't you make everyone really jealous whose cars are SORNd
I've been out as well today AND yesterday
Bit cold is an understatment my lugs are throbbing.
Good fun though and the roads are a bit cold and greasy. W/spin in 3 gears
What is SORNED
You lucky sod, i hope i will be out this summer, just got a few jobs left to do and then it will be time for the IVA .
The roads are cold but bone dry round here i just never expected it to make this much difference 400cc

yep me too , only 12 miles but it all counts.
however note too self, must buy some decent gloves !!
Roger
Went for my 5th blat in 3 days. Had a bit of a moment on cold tyres, but thoroughly good fun. I just need to find some driving gloves, as my fingers went numb!
Been out in the car today too, sun shining & not a cloud in the sky, but it was still very cold.
Roads were bone dry, but very very slippy, had a few sphincter clenching moments
Gloves what are they ? not cold enough for gloves
I did a 2 mile drive around base, good enough to remind me what the cars like
Also learnt real quick that R888's need treating gently when really new and cold, fast enough acceleration though for the glass to pop out of the
wing mirror and smash
A drive from Oxford to Norfolk should scrub the tyres in before Silverstone next week!!
ATB Dan.
I have to scrub a set of 888s in before use in anger
probs put them on for the steady blat to stonleigh

went out saturday bout 20 mile round trip sun was shining but very chilly fortunately silly hunters hat and ski gloves kept extremeties from freezing,
legs got a bit chilly tho. had bike suit on for second half mrs wasnt best chuffed tho.
Had an interesting moment when we turned down one lane where we hadnt been before and discovered a ford across the road we didnt know was there.
Quick reverse into a convenient farm entrance and about turn to find alternative route.
