not for me thanks

I'm just going to watch this countdown: linky

vinny1275 - 12/3/10 at 03:19 PM

I've been listening to the commentary online *cough*

I love the BBC coverage of it - the classic GPs on red button / online are ace as well - was watching a race from the year I was born last night - brilliant stuff

Hopefully this season will be all it promises to be - we'll find out on Sunday - I can't wait!

YAWN.............. Is it that time of year again?
Processionary driving once past the first corner.
DTM/BTCC/MotoGP for me any time
Now that is proper racing

Chucked out for cheating as he should have been when he stole the championship by intentionally crashing into Hill. Cheating B*st*rd!!!

dan8400 - 12/3/10 at 03:58 PM

I agree.... it was Hill's year. Shall never forgive him for that. Hopefully he'll have a bad year and realise he's no good anymore.

Come back's are never a good idea

I can't wait, i think the driver lineup is great. Schumacher/Vettel/Hamilton/button/Alonso/massa. Good on Schumacher for coming 3rd in practice, i didn't expect that so early!

James - 12/3/10 at 06:03 PM

The 3 things I want out of F1 this year.

1. Mclaren to win Constructors
=1. Hamilton to win WDC
3. Alonso to not win. And ideally be humiliated in some way that will be long-remembered!

russbost - 12/3/10 at 06:04 PM

Well, love him or hate him things are always exciting when Schumi is around & I for one will be staggered if he's not competitive.
Hoping this should be the best season for years!!!!

fathead - 12/3/10 at 06:53 PM

I'm well excited! With Liverpool doing so crap in the Prem, this has given me something to look forward to!

I'm well up for it though there is an interesting article on Planet F1 suggesting that due to a need to preserve the tyres in the initial stage of the race (when the cars are heavy on fuel) F1 management might actually have got rid of the opening lap excitement which (at some races at least) was the most interesting part of the race.........
And because tyre changes are all going to take the same amount of time it's going to be easy for teams to react to another team pitting because strategy basically stops existing.

So potentially we could have no-one overtaking, everyone pitting line astern at the same time and then everyone going out onto the race track again at the same time followed by yet again a total lack of over-taking.

Wow

Let's hope not eh?

Which I will be winning

The actual championship this year looks like being one of the closest contended for some time. I think the winner could come from any of a handfull of drivers (though I hope it's Lewis).

Keep an eye on Nico Hulkenberg, he cant half or else drive.

Button for two in a row!!!

I'm not as excited as I was this time last year but should be good. With things as they are, I think its going to be a two stage championship. 4 teams at the top and the other 9(8) competing for 5th.

Well may the best man (or woman) win!

oldtimer - 12/3/10 at 08:39 PM

Looks like one of the best F1 line ups for a long time - there is serious talent and the mods will shake it all up again. I see there have been protests already!....Not too sure if the racing will be better, but what can they do?
