i just bought my first £100 tank of fuel. How the **** did all that fit in a vivaro?
I know the feeling i stopped at £95 as i couldn't bear the thought of putting more than £100 in the tank.
Did you just open a window and fill the van up to the roof??
I got £165 worth into the Range Rover....
It's a worry
I noticed our local Tesco station had raised it's Pay @ Pump limit from £60 to £100 a few weeks back.
I've been kidding myself by putting £50 in a time and ignoring the fact I'm going back every other day 
wow, how many miles do you lot do!
I thought i did alot at 25k. I also have to pay london prices quite often.
I have a 59 plate focus diesel estate. I dont know what size tank but i can only fit 55 quid in it.

The high top transit eats diesel at a rate of knots.......not seen how much it can take.
And there was me thinking of getting an old speed boat back on the water.
Main tank plus reserve tank 40gals. (180litres) total
Thats bu**ered that idear then.
chevy g20 we have takes ~150litres or something rediculous.
It uses them at a rate of about 3mpg round town too..

My tintop takes £70 and i thought that was bad
my 5 series did 90 quid to fill the tank a few months ago. Id hate to think what it would be now.

The other halfs BMW 320d takes about £80 to fill it, but you can do 780 miles on that at 90 with 4 in and all our holiday gear

Back in the old day my wages were £9.45 a week, 3 gallons of petrol for a pound and every night in the pub quite a lot of beer (not saying how much)
and saturday night at the disco and still some change left.
The real worry I have is we will look back on threads like this in a years time and won't believe how cheap it was to fill up at ONLY £100 for a
tank full.
I predict £1.50 per litre this time next year!

I put over £40 in the Peugeot for the first time last week. I did drive about 40 miles after is said 0 miles to go though, and filled it to the brim. 36 litres of unleaded should last me 360 miles though or about 2 weeks.
i always fill to the top because time is money, so may as well make as few trips to the petrol station as possible!
I brim my car once a week when I go to Tesco for my shopping, A full tank would probably last me most of a month buts just easier to keep it full.
Less risk of running out aswell.
I got £101 in the tank last time fuel costs were high.
!976........ ahhhh, parents decided it would be a good idea to go to Criccieth (North Wales) for a summer holiday in 1976.
Got there and it pee'd down every day. Said parents had to go and buy jumpers and coats as they'd left them at home as it had been so

Just been for diesel today £1.18.9 ltrs
