finally bit the bullet, gave in to SWMBO and bought an MPV
Went out last week and looked at 4 Alhambras, 1 Galaxy and an 807 ranging from £1995 to £4500. Most were battered to pieces, the 807 was actually
quite good (until I actually drove it).
Finally settled on this 2001 Alhambra SE, Seat demo car + 1 owner, full SH, 105k miles, clean and tidy, drove well and comes serviced with new MoT and
6 months tax for £4000.
I swore I 'd never do it, but now I'm strangely looking forward to seeing just how much crap we can tote around with us

I truely feel for you. My thoughts are with you at such hard times
I was going to own up to owning a Galaxy TDI but now i have seen the ridicule I could expect I will keep quiet
Steve.
...not forgetting
my mate bought one to use as a van.......for £350
mechanicals are great....but the inside looks like there was a paint ball attack with permanent paint.
Cheers chaps - you've made me feel loads better about it
Forgot to mention before, it's also got the "Captain" front seats which swivel 180 degrees so you can play poker with the first row
Best bit mind will be the ability to put each of the 3 kids in seats where they can't reach each other
