I have the option of going to either of the above very cheaply, either today or tomorrow, but can't decide which to go to! (back in time for
Stoneleigh on Sunday, of course!)
What may decide it, is if hire cars are allowed to go on the 'Ring, but I doubt it (can anyone shed some light on this?)
So what do you lot reckon?
James
1 day trip, always go for a city imo
i went to berlin 18 years ago with the school trip and it was great
I agree with Craig!
Berlin is interestingly different... if you were planning to fly to Berlin then drive to the Ring, according to Google Maps it's 510km/6hrs
15mins...
Re hire cars - there's probably something in the hire agreement that forbids it. Not sure if the Ring cares, though.

Berlin if it's just for a couple of days. Brilliant now.
Berlin. Really interesting place. Particularly in the darker hours...
Berlin, its amazing, very cultural and the history is incredible. as said for such a short stay it has to be an interesting city. South of france would be good for a week minimum
The ring is just a toll road isnt it? Hire cars can go on toll roads.

As above, Berlin is the opposite side of Germany from the 'Ring.
I'd take Berlin over South of France any day, but mostly because the weather there doesn't agree with me.
All booked! Ferry to calais, then go to nurburgring (via Spa maybe, just to have a look?) then onwards to Berlin.
sooo excited
James
