Krismc - 2/5/10 at 03:50 PM

Got a quote from 2gether for my new audi A4 Avant - im 28 with 10 years no claims and currently pay £300 with footman on my civic type r(insurance group 17e) and £285 for the kit car so thought changing to 2 gether by adding the new audi(insuance group 12) first then the kit car once the insurance runs out but they want £1100 just for the audi.

What a joke.

My tintop is group 16 and i only pay £500 a year (23 with 4yrs no claims)

i guess it is horses for courses, they specilise in quoting on cars that other insurance brokers dont understand, and therefore load heavily.

For run of the mill stuff I;d stick with price comparison sites.

Hmm, so whats the point of doing together insurance- i thought it was so i could have a standard car and a kit car on one policy???

I got a quote for my Impreza wrx sti type uk 2gether were about £100 more than my current deal, but they were the cheapest by far for the kit car.

So it pays to shop around

2gether insurance specialise in kit car insurance, not tin-tops.
I think the name isn't anything to do with the "together" type insurance that you're talking about. It's just a name
