Redecking a trailer
norfolkluego - 9/5/10 at 10:30 PM

My trailer needs a new deck, normally it lives in the garage with the Luego on it, but this winter while we were doing the engine swop we needed the room so it lived outside. The cold weather has really damaged the plywood deck, the frosts have delaminated a lot of the ply, it's still usable but it's going to need doing pretty soon. Exterior ply is horribly expensive and ally sheet is even worse in a suitable thickness. Any ideas of the best way to go?

Marine ply is the stuff to use...

Expanded metal decking perhaps?Image deleted by owner

I was going to redo it with patio decking.

I used tongue and grooved flooring on mine, should last about 5 years and easy and cheap enough to replace

I'd do it properly and do it once with some 12mm DMP plywood.... Cheaper in the long term...
