But not for me this time.
I need to start collecting parts in order to create a scale down 7ensque version.
I have seen some plans a while ago but lost the link.
What should i be looking for?
I have thought of Bike suspension units
but all the rest are a big question mark.
I am thinking either electric or small 50cc scooter engine?
What about hubs, rack and tires?
bike suspension is a good idea. maybe off a 650.
get off ebay for about £15 a pair at most.
good luck

suspension of a pushbike you'll need to get a full suspension bike as the forks probably wouldn't be usable. head on over to your local dump
with some 'persuasion paper' and pick up some old bikes.

Kinda depends what scale you're talking about!
Child? Lego man?
Might have an affect!

Some of the formula students use bike dampers.
Yes I have found a couple of suspension units.
What would you suggest though for front and rear hubs and axle and tires?
Go cart parts?
Are we talking kart performance?
I don't know how old your child is but would a starter motor and car battery or 2 do the trick?
Cheers,
James

I believe i am looking on a 1:2 scale
I think you might have trouble with bike spring/damper units unless you fit much lighter springs. Remember the bike damper in on the end of a much longer lever than a wishbone, and one holds up the rider while you will have four on your kiddie car.
I believe MNR have created a scaled down Vortx - don't know if they sell the plans (or how locost such a kit would be).
