Good Audi breaker / specialist

Right chaps after being knocked off my chair by the 'main stealers' quote for a selaniod heater valve Audi part number 4F1-959-617-B.

GSF dont stock them

So I after a decent Audi breakers or audi parts specialist tried 3 or 4 from the bay and ether thay are not replying or they dont have one so sugestions please.

The catalogue suggests the part is £160+ new from Audi. It's found in the A6 from 2005 to 2009 (saloon and estate, including the RS6), maybe in some A4s too. Not many in the breaker's I'll bet

We have a genuine parts place which is actually run by the vag group called TPS (trade parts supply) They are vag parts only alot cheaper than the dealer. Think they are a national thing.

I think TPS may be trade only, we use them for a bit of stuff including consumables like wiper blades & they even deliver to our workshop right out in the countryside.

Is it a valve just hanging on the pipe like VWs & Audis of old (my 51 reg T4 van is like that) or one that is fitted to the heater unit? It suprising what parts are shared, we have a Case International tractor here that uses the old VAG pipe mounted valve, even has the VW badge & 4 rings on it!
