starting in 5 minutes on the BEEB!
predictions?
not sure but as they said pre race, mclaren got 10th of second advantage for a mere $10,000 fine instead of $250,000 development costs for that amount of advantage. Good tactics me thinks....
hopefully a DNF from lewis and a podium for webber/button
There is some great racing going on!
Great fun!
Quote of the day from vettel - Do i have to pass button to win? lol
I predict that Lewis will win... Button second... Alonso third!
I also predict that MS will drive like he's in a dodgem!
Do I win a prize?
excellent result! Especially loved whitmarsh taking the wee out of eddie at the end!
He does lend himself rather easily to ridicule does our Eddie!
Good race.
Michael Scumi would be a good candidate for the specsavers brand. Either that or he needs extra cockpit room for a Labrador.
Schuey should either quit or get his super licence pulled, not only up to his old dirty driving tricks, he showed nothing like the skill of the
young Rosberg. Chandhok would be the guy to hire.
Alonso drove a great race, Ferrari should have put Massa out to grass not given him a new contract, I would love to see Kubica or Buemi get his
seat.
Nice to see Norbert congratulating is old mates at McLaren.
Big question is was Mark Webber's gearbox knobbled ?
good race, apart from banger racing from Michael
stu
true really, once could be excuse but so many time, it WAS like dodgems!

Kubica's pit entry was errrr....interesting to say the least. Exciting race for once.
only race I haven't enjoyed this year was the bore of a 1st race.
Anyone else think the bland desert landscape sent everyone into a trance..I know I fell asleep

A few things struck me while getting sunburnt, watching from the hairpin:
1. Schumacher is a good driver, and is very smooth - both braking, and when he gets on the power. He was nearly run into several times and was quick
enough to get out of the way.
2. Alonso drove a great race and deserved a podium.
3. Massa is a menace, and shouldn't be out there. He doesn't have it anymore. I know he's trying to wring a good race from an
underperforming car, but he tries too hard, and slides around more than the drifting crowd. He brakes late, and just boots it, even if he isn't
pointing in the right direction. He always looks nervous. I wouldn't have resigned him!
4. Liuzzi was very consistent and held his own. He also did a lot of laps in practice.
5. Button was surprising. Extremely patient, and never looked out of control. I was surprised when he podiumed. He just never looked in a hurry.
6. Hamilton deserved the win and his driving indicated how much he wanted it. Vettel pushed hard, but obviously came up short.
7. They all drive very well in traffic, unlike some of the F1600 guys -especially Chandok, who seemed very aware of things around him, unlike some
newcomers.
OK, more than a couple, but impressive driving, not just the cars. The historic GP cars were good too, and some were the same cars I saw the last GP I
attended in 1982!
