Best place to buy Jenvey TB's
r1_pete - 25/6/10 at 07:21 AM

Anyone advise a decent supplier for Jenveys, I've tried Jenvey direct and getting a price for what I need in nigh on impossible:

1st I ask for the price of three TBP45's, they respond with price for three single bodies stating this is what I need for a three cylinder engine. I respond no its a straight six, then I get the price for two TBP42's and the messege these are right for a 1700 xflow.......

Start again, 3 x TBP45i's please for a 6, quote comes back £775, this includes fuel rail, and 60mm air horns!!! now when did I ask for rails and horns, all I want is three bare TBP45i's ffs........

They clearly don't listen, or are too busy to deal with retail, so looking for a recommended supplier.

They are awesome, just need to work out how to hide a £1000+ all in one spend from SWMBO.

Good job I've left my wallet at home, its buyout from Final Salary pension month this month too

now can I remember the numbers........

I bought my jenveys from Burton power, price was cheaper than list, and they seemed to know what they were talking about re linkages, fuel rails, and misc gubbings.

Oh, and just fyi if you are using DCOE ones, the trumpets don't fit inside normal K+N filters, so you need trumpet socks, or a lathe.

I get a £dollop extra this month in the pay packet as a sweetner for them closing the FS pension, so, if I can hide it from SWMBO.........

pete AT POWER IS LOTS BETTER and are made better also give more power than jenvey also 38mm flows 7% more airflow gives more power than a 45mm jenvey due to shaftless design had a look at a show very nice parts at a good price

Thanks for the replies everyone, I'm going to have a last attempt at doing something the locost way with the XJ6 manifold and GSXR750 TBs I have, if it looks crap, its AT Power.

imp paul - 26/6/10 at 09:32 AM
