I think that was the best topgear i have ever seen.
Yes. I liked that ayrton senna bit. And Cameron Diaz is sooooooo Fit.
Yep good show one of the best
quite emotional in a manly way of course

I thought the senna bit was brilliant, well done TG and well done clarkson for backing off the baffoonery for 10 seconds.
Just as I was getting fed up with the program, they pull that out.
Great Program.
I agree too. Great show tonight. I thought it was getting a bit stale.
Love the Senna bit. Pleased to see a bit of proper old top gear dothing it's cap to a true legend
Dan
wow - last week Hammonds tent falls over and this week the best 10 mins of top gear in ages.
quite ironic really after F1 today - Mr Alonso you win races by racing and racing hard.
Mustn't forget Roland Ratzenberger either - both of them put it on the line that weekend.....
Got a lump in my throat watching senna, and while miss diaz was on I had a lump .......
The tribute brought a lump to my throat, the late great Ayton Senna still missed, what a very black weekend for F1 that was with Roland
Ratzenberger's death during practice and also the crash in the pit lane leaving a mechanic if I am right with a broken leg. Thanks TG must admit
that Cameron Diaz is a little darling too.
I was starting to give up on this series but that was just excellent! All three of the main features were 20 times better than what we've seen so
for this series.
Still not a fan of the reasonably priced car bit though....
Tonight's was the best in a long way. More like this please. I'm not a fan of the star in a reasonably priced car and Cameron Diaz really annoys me normally, but it was nice to see her and Tom Cruise relax and act like normal people. Some how I'm happy that they have both had several broken noses. Speaking of which, if Senna had deliberately driven across me to cheat and win the world championship ...
Think that was the best one they've done
Best one for a very long time - but I had that nagging feeling all the way through they were going to cock it up with some stupid challenge .
As for that Veyron
had a lump in my throat with the senna bit. glad they didn't show the crash
Im obviously to young to remeber senna... but from those clips he seemed like an arogant inconsiderate dick..... not a sporting racing driver...

Tribute to Senna? Is it 20 years now?
You know I'm still surprised his son races...
A very good episode, can't help but think it would have been better If they'd kept the guest a bit more secret.
The Senna peice was brilliant, a good mix of footage, interviews info and quite a rounded view of him as a driver. I was six or seven when he died but
I do remember him vaguely from those times. I do remember some of the stuff that happened after he died, including some of the Funeral and
mourning.
I also think they should have let James May explain more about the physics of going fast.
I think the senna bit was very good at the top of F1 hero or villan is very close all depends on what colour shirt you ware ( mclarren / williams ect
ect )
but sending hamilton out in the MP4. 1200 bhp hardly any driver aids I bet that got him sweating a bit !!

Agreed, was the best TG in a while - including some actual journalism! I think they were pretty fair in the Senna piece, you can't hold him up as
some shining beacon of sportsmanship, as he was completely ruthless on track, but he had a very human side to him as well - all his charity work in
Brazil, and the bit where he parked his car at the side of the circuit to help another driver who'd crashed!
Letting Lewis drive the MP4-4 as well - he was like a dog with two d1cks - whooping the entire way round Silverstone!
And it was nice to see 2 Hollywood A-listers being reasonably normal, tho I wouldn't mind betting they had a mahoosive motorhome out the back

Isn't Bruno his nephew ?
Hope some of you recognised Neil Trundle in the background of the MP4/4 shots. (Longish grey hair, Mclaren uniform)
I introduced a few of you (Bob and Jasper (Chippy's known him for years)) to him when he came to our Newlands Locost meet.
He was the 'del' in Rondel racing which he owned with Ron Dennis:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rondel_Racing
and was Senna's chief mechanic when he was at Mclaren.
I was round his house at 6 o'clock last night- not knowing he was due to be on TG 2 hours later! lol!
Cheers,
James
I'm one of the first to have a pop at TG for not being as good as it used to be... so, have to say - that was an excellent episode!
More of this please BBC!
