what a headline from Massa
pdm - 30/7/10 at 07:22 AM

I know he's not done too well this year but based on the headline I think he's getting a bit defensive !!

I wonder what colour the sky is on the planet Massa must be living on?

To pen a line similar to a littery masterpeice.

All Ferrari F1 drivers are equal - but Some are more equal than others !!

Nah, he's definitely not a number two at Ferarri.

that's Alonso's test driver Massas third most important

theconrodkid - 30/7/10 at 09:45 AM

F1 is not a sport anymore,it is a big business with corporate image ruling the roost.
he is a small cog in the big wheel that is F1,he is paid to do a job and if part of that job means washing up,cleaning the bog,s or coming 2nd then so be it.
not that i agree with "race fixing" especially when it means a smarmy spaniard being given preference to the team,s long standing no2.

Nobody complained when Kovelienen let hamilton pass in the same race last year.

mrwibble - 30/7/10 at 10:19 AM

thing is ferrari are such arses when it comes to any breach of the rules by anyone else, but do it with virtual impunity themselves. its most sad for the fans, people want to pay money and spend time watching a RACE.

Letting your team mate past isn't against the rules. It's at the racers discretion. But what occurred clearly wasn't of Massa's choosing because he had clearly defended the position shortly before. The radio traffic was damning! "Good lad. Sorry." says it all.

I feel most sorry for Smedley. It should have been the big boss on the phone not passing down messages to destroy the engineer/driver relationship.

Don't think Hamilton usually needed too much help getting past Kovalainen

PSpirine - 30/7/10 at 03:04 PM

I actually really like Massa, and I feel sorry for him that he had to let that cheating bastard through.

I don't think his and Smedley's relationship will be affected, as they both know what's going on and Massa knew it wasn't Smedley's call.

As much as I hate to see Ferrari anywhere in the points, I really do hope Massa does well this weekend and kicks Alonso's thieving arse!
