Anyone ever seen one of these made road-legal? Would be a hoot, but the exposed back-end would be an IVA nightmare!
unfortunately it's not going to look much like that after it's been made IVA friendly
shame as you would lose most of the lure of the car - where would you mount the headlights and mirrors
things that look that cool should have special dispensation

Road-legal Formula Vee - £6,950
sorry, I can see your point but the Tiger is a thing of beauty ^^^^ on the other hand isn't (in my opinion of course)
Steve
The 'flying pickle' (Formula Vee in the pic) has been for sale for a while. It's looks are a little... erm... unfortunate!
Have any of you who think those ERA cars are cool looking actualy seen one with a real person sat in one? they're not quite so cool then because
they're not quite to scale if you're over about 5ft tall

Im hoping the haynes single seater will look something like that
I can't quite get the point of the ERA.
It looks sort of like a 60s Lotus only i) not anything like as pretty and ii) it isn't one.
As a single seater, it has no real purpose. Can't be used as a historic, not competive against modern opposition.
As a road car ?
Don't know, but can't see it myself.
I reckon a Sylva Riot would be a more usefull thing on both road and track.
