Just spent the last few hours fitting a spangly new Parrot kit to my car - 'designed to work with ipod' it says on the packet
So plug my ipod in and it says 'device not supported'
turns out my ipod is too old for the parrot
so anyone want an ipod mini 4gb?
thinking of a nano is there much difference between 4G and 5G models?
Cheers
Mark
Get your self a 120Gb S1 Samsung USB hard drive.
Load on the MP3's and leave it in the car.
Its a lot cheaper than an Ipod.
Cost you about £47 on Amazon.co.uk
You can even get nice little hard cases to store them in on Amazon.
There is a Samsung S2 at 320gb. But I recon when full will take a while to list the full directory!
Still 120gb of music and books in the car is more than enough for me.
OK you dont get the fancy shuffle and easy controls, but it gives you lots of music with basic controls.
BTW What Parrot have you got?

My Parrot has just died completely.
It worked great with my old Nokia 6230 phone, but after swapping to an HTC HD2 it threw a right wobbly at the number of contacts stored on the
phone.
Next car will be having built in Bluetooth and USB connectivuty for sure
