Hi all

I'm lookin for some trailer runners something along the line of what this guy has:

trailer runners

Preferably from somewhere in scotland if possible?

Or am i barking up the wrong tree with these? Am i better off with chequer plate for a bit of grip? Ive seen the punched chequer plate ones but hes miles away and delivery will be a load on top.

cheers
Steve

I beg your pardon?

Was referring to the "vehicle" in your link not your GKD.

^^^LMAO, that could have gone very wrong!!

Love the linked trailer.

Cant you get some 5mm plate folded? If it were me, i would get holes pressed into it as well for less weight and more tyre grip.

What about the cable tray stuff leccys use?

There's some big sizes, full of holes and galvanised...

on page 2 he gives a cost breakdown. The channel came from a engineering company, link on there too.

Think that the postage would be a killer from down south, got a couple of contacts up here to chase

Will the leccky stuff be thick enough? Doubt it would be thicker than 1mm or so? Will have a look later

buy 5 then? Cut 4 down the middle and weld it all together?
