Hi last week my Dad had to charge his car battery so removed the earth cable the radio lost its code and he cant find the numbers for the code
Its a corsa with a grungid radio
has anyone any ideas how to get it it work with out going to the main dealers
Thanks
Should be either in the manual or written on the head unit.
there are poeple on ebay that can give you the code if you have the serial number

If its not too old you might be able to get the code from the dealer by taking in the V5 and getting them to look on the computor which is usually free. I had this promblem on my 205 but it was too old to be on the system and was going to cost £25 in labour for them to sort it out. There are other people that can do the same thing but it will probably cost the same.
Can do alot of reading to see if its in here
Cheers
Rich

need the model number and serial number, then i may be able to get it for you.
I had the same problem with the wifes Punto, asked the question here:

Had an answer within a couple of hours.
As long as you have the serial numbers from the unit the geeks there should be able to sort you out.
Ford wanted £25 to give me mine.
I found a programme on the 'net for my type or radio, stuck in the serial number of the radio and Roberts yer Mothers Brother!
Dont pay these licensed bandits otherwise named as Main Stealers.
The only garage that might have it is the original garage that sold the car when new.
All others will want paying.
Prog off the net was free download, and does all ford M series radios.
Search the net first... and read the car forums as well.
