My daughter forwarded this to me regarding the experience of a female driver and I thought I would pass it on.
I really don't know how true this is or whether the police advice is correct but it is certainly something to be wary of.
Apologies if this has been posted before or isn't real but it is something to bear in mind......
It's also sad state of affairs, especially if you are inclined to 'help' people...
While driving on a rural end of the roadway on Thursday morning, I saw an infant carseat on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it. For
whatever reason, I did not stop, even though I had all kinds of thoughts running through my head. But when I got to my destination, I called the
Police and they were going to check it out. But, this is what the Police advised even before they went out there to check....

A sad state of affairs indeed - I am however comforted by the fact that you are reporting this from Scotland which is a much more depressing place
than England

PMSL at the precision of that 92.5% vision blockage from an egg chucked at your windscreen squirted with water! Wonder how they measured that?
Might be a load of bollox, but it's not beyond the wit of man to imagine people with malicious intent using creative methods to get vulnerable

It sadly originates from Joburg where car jacking is a sad fact of life.
The original thing that happened was the car was taken from a woman in a shopping center car park with the kid in the rear seat.
They dropped off the baby and car seat in the middle reservation on their way to soweto....
some people stopped to help the kid and if my memory serves me correct they got jacked as well.
Hence the reason I live in Scotland now after some thugs held my wife up at gunpoint...and pulled the trigger 
lady luck was on her side and it
jammed.
It does have truth in it but not in the UK yet.

i don't think raw egg would mix with washer fluid, I'm almost tempted to go and try to find out (If I still had the 205 I would).
I see loads of these all the time, its usually obviously from other countries as they usually use non English English. Like the one about someone
putting a piece of paper on the back of your car and running you over when you get out to move it.
