Hi there all you HGV and PSV using digi tacho's..

I know I need to keep my analogue discs with me for 30 days then hand them in, but what about print outs from the digi card machines?

Do I need to keep them for 30 days as well or forever?

Trouble is I've been working for an agency and they demanded a printout at the end of every shift. But this sometimes ended up with me having two!

Bag is stuffed with printouts. Can I bin them without suffering the wrath of Vosa?

you dont keep a print out as its stored on the card i think you have to download the card every 30 days or the end of each week

Hi, Your card should be downloaded every 28 days or less. As for your printouts once the card has been downloaded you can bin the printouts. Providing that for each client you work for through the Agency, they download the card after say every last shift that you worked for them, before you go and work for another client, there should be no problem. Unless the Agency downloads your card, but i don't see how that would work.
