Polo Rads...

Seen a few folk have been using the ali Polo rads on their cars... does anyone know which model has the greatest cooling ability (and roughly what it's capable of)?

Ta

I blagged mine from the company that re-core our heat exchangers.

He claims the Polo rad is so good because it has 'turbulators' internally (I'm sure that's what he said) which slow down the flow and absorb more heat. This could explain why the rad is so efficient ??

I see the sprint series cars using them, but they only warm up, go for it, and cool down.

How much power are you planning then ?

Cheers...

The engine made 210bhp last time it was on a dyno...

At 210 I would personally use water wetter and a good fan with a manual overide if you use it on the road.

Water Wetter

I wouldn't listen to me though my hair drier doesn't go that high

I have a rad from a 1.1 polo and cools my little beast with no problems
