Gunsons Great Customer Service
mistergrumpy - 24/9/10 at 06:31 PM

I got a Gunsons easy bleed about 12 months ago and I bet I haven'y used it more than 5 times when I noticed it was leaking air from somewhere on the cap. Picked it off the shelf last night to look at it and noticed that the cap had a split in it around the top edge, around half of the circumference. I tried to glue it up but it wouldn't work so I e mailed Gunsons enquiring about the cost of a replacement cap if if they even sold them. Received an e mail first thing this morning saying to leave my address and they'd send one out free of charge.
Now that's good customer service which I was beginning to think had all but died away.

Thats odd... Mine broke in exactly the same place... sprayed a fine mist of fluid everywhere when you use it

Mocol did the same for me with a rubber seal. Could not thank them enough.

I think it is genuinely good to see some decent customer service for a change as I say. I'd be willing to pay for the part now despite being offered it for free if I had to and more inclined to buy other Gunsons stuff (which I have already) knowing that if it breaks I'll be backed up.
Too much of this has been forgotten and it sems the customer is ow not the most important person and dare I say it this is very prevelant in our kit car industry. I've had two companies ring me up giivng me abuse just for posting about bad service on this website!

I think the mod's need to look into this. Someone has obviously hacked into Mistergrumpy's account. It can't realy be him posting. It's just not... grumpy enough!

Cheers mate. I'm in a rubbish mood as well after a rubbish day at work yesterday and hadn't eaten in 24 hours by the time I left.
