Not another advert... just your opinions please

As you may or may not know my car is up for sale. I wont repost the ad unless you U2U me.

Just wondered if it is still a bad time for people with credit / money situation etc etc. Cant seem to even get an equiry or phone call let alone anyone to look at it.

It is very reasonably priced to shift it but no takers.

Any thoughts

Thanks
Dan

Traditionally not a good time of year to sell open cars...

Have you put it on Pistonheads? What about a classified on eBay, cheap and it lasts a month.

Anyway, in a market where there are plenty of buyers and sellers then the usual reason for stuff not selling is the price. But with kit cars there aren't so many buyers and sellers so it's quite possible your advert hasn't been seen by anyone interested.

As pointed out, bad time of the year, so probably the best thing would be to see if you could somehow put yourself in a position where you could hang on to it until late spring of next year. If you can't do that then the only things I can think of is more advertising, and the price.

the main reason you aint selling your 530d is cos its a 3 ltr.

secondly is your location.

i work in leeds and live in linconshire.

ive noticed i get much more stuff sold if i sell it from leeds.

i even sol dmy last car by changing the address to my friends in leeds and sold it in 2 days after having in autotrader in lincs for 3 weeks.

you would be best joining the e60 forum an trying to post it on that site.

its a nice car i have the e60 but they aint fetchin that much money with high mileage or with big engines.

hope that helps.

cheers
