Hi
what is the best way to fit a 4 point harness? do i need brackets or can i mount directly onto the rear frame?

thanks

does your chassis not have the mounting points already?
i also have a striker and i have screw in eye holes for the harnesses, i guess if you had standard fittings on your harnesses then you could still just bolt to the same place?

it's not a great photo but probably the best i have of the mounts.
The ones for the sides are similar but attached on the lower chassis mounts.

Mine went through sva(not iva, don't no if things have changed) with that setup.Hitler at the test station spent some time measuring and there isn't much leeway.keep the cushion on the floor pretty thin!

no it doesnt have mounts just ones for normal seatbelts
no sv issue car already registered just a change of belts for me.

cheers

normal seatbelts as in like in a tintop?
That's weird on a kit car....

take some photos of the belt/mounts you already have and post up and i'm sure we'd be a lot more help....!

ok i will
it has screw holes to put some plates on, however i have only seen eye bolt mounts like this and my belts are not that type? would drilling the frame compromise the strength of the chassis?

so why can't you just the standard type of belt fitting and instead of screwing in an eyehole, just put a regular bolt through?
