Trying to get a cheap car like a Fiesta 1.3

And not paying over £500. for the insurance.

Problem is My NCB is on the family car, which is a Subaru Outback and cost £250 approx. to insure
and about the same for the ZX12R dax Rush.

Is there no one out there that takes into account the NCB on my other cars.

Oh. and one even tried requoting for my other cars. £900+ for the Subaru and "Dax What?"

I think It's going to be cheaper to get a full weather kit for a Dax instead.
Is it me or do others find call centres painful.

Admiral is supposed to be good for this sort of thing.

Get a traders policy, they even do windscreen cover on whatever car you specify as your daily driver. Just make sure you tell them you only trade part time, save paperwork etc.

Have a look at a muticar policy?

Have you tried adding your wife as a named driver on the policy? often viewed favourably by insurers for some reason.

Or get a "classic" car - quite a lot of older useable (ie everyday) cars fall under this scheme and you should get a good price as specialist brokers don't offer or require ncd's.

I was quote about £90 fully comp on a Rover P6, as an example.

As Above. Most cars over 10yrs old qualify.
