Good afternoon everyone,
- Does anyone have any knowledge of this system.
A friends Mazda 2.0 diesel keeps on complaining that there is a problem with the unit. The cat and filter - being a single unit - has been replaced
and still complains that the unit is blocked. It has been reset but immediatly sets again.
If the sensor is duff, what signal information would I be looking for - analogue or digital (meter or scope required)
At the moment, the ECU keeps the car in a very low power mode - not enough to tow with.
Any constructive information would be welcome, Thanks.

Thankyou for the response.
The previous reset was done by the AA so hopefully we will get the same result with Mazda doing the reset.

to test the sensor you need a scanner to look at live data. With a miti vac apply a small vacumn to the sensor and check the reading to see if its the same.

Thanks, if the Mazda reset does not work, I will try it.
