One reason im not over the moon about excited yanks;

And they would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids.

Had someone intervened, it’d not be anywhere near that bad! Quick knock on the driver(s) windows and someone’s pride and joy saved (if only a little!)

But no....Stand there and film it instead!

I’d always get involved with something like that – probably gets me in trouble a few times but I just can’t understand how someone can sit back and watch chaos unfold when they could help?

You would walk towards a 5 ton squirming machine being pulled by a 7 ton truck on a slippery slope? Not me.

wow, not sure why he is pulling the digger out as i would have thought it would never get stuck. Maybe it ran out of fuel or drive.

to wreck that car and then even hit it with the scoop on the front when they got past shows they are idiots.

I hope they get a good fine over this.

JoelP - 28/12/10 at 10:17 PM

to be fair to the filmer, he didnt know it was going to get worse, he wasnt dressed so would have taken a few mins to get outside, and the damage would already have been done. Plus, at least city workers are definately insured. Had it been my car down there, id rather he just kept filming once the damage was started. At least he had the presence of mind to start filming before it happened!

Where would all the entertainment be if we all did that?

sebastiaan - 29/12/10 at 10:44 AM

And one less Ford Explorer in the world. Yay!

bartonp - 29/12/10 at 03:37 PM

The hydraulics were obviously working (centre articulation) so surely he could have pushed himself clear with the front loader?

scootz - 29/12/10 at 04:00 PM

Don't be silly - you're applying far too much common-sense there Barton!

Confused but excited. - 29/12/10 at 05:59 PM

Just proves council workers are all the same the world over.
