blakep82 - 7/1/11 at 04:38 PM

isn't it a V24? 12 cylinders each side?

speedyxjs - 7/1/11 at 04:38 PM

IT's like 6 pintos in line
just a bit bigger then a bike engine

Simon - 7/1/11 at 04:56 PM

Not really, cos you'd quite happy weigh in six Pintos

I will take a stab at it then , I think he has got a few quid !

Handles like a half track, drinks fuel like its a Russian tank, absolutely fantastic !

RazMan - 7/1/11 at 05:10 PM

It's definitely a V24 - here's another link

i waas waiting for the burnout!

JeffHs - 7/1/11 at 05:53 PM

I was standing next to it when he started it up at last year's Cholmondely Festival of Speed. My legs got qute warm! It's a beast - you should see and hear it on a wet track.

UncleFista - 7/1/11 at 06:04 PM

If that is a V24 it must have a tiny capacity, the cylinder bores must be tiny !
The exhaust pipes look really close together, is there no way it could be a v12 with 2 pipes per cylinder ?

steve m - 7/1/11 at 06:14 PM

how many gallons to the mile ?

PSpirine - 7/1/11 at 06:14 PM

42 litres! Not tiny lol

Indeed..

Have a look at the wiki site link below. Its a V12 aero engine, but the one in the Bentley is a twin port with 2 exhausts per cylinder giving the appearance of a V24.

V12 link (not V24) link, go on clicky me....

scudderfish - 7/1/11 at 08:18 PM

Be tricky to IVA that

RazMan - 8/1/11 at 12:00 AM

I stand corrected - it IS only a V12 after all. 2000 lb ft of torque would be fun
