My local wheel refurb place charges £30 a rim to a rub down and paint, which to be honest I think is too much.
Personally I would DIY it.

I've had wheels chemically stripped, shot blasted and powder coated or epoxy coated in the past.

The cheapest was £25 per wheel and the most about £50 per wheel depending on the complexity.

If you're just after paint I would consider rubbing down and painting yourself.

Paynes in Hinckley were doing a 4 wheel refurb for £99 recently so bet they'd do a recolour for that

After doing a set of wheels by hand a few months ago, I say never again.

It cost me almost as much in rattle cans as a pro would charge for a refurb (a quid per inch at my local place), the finish wasn't as good, it was "bloody" hard work and the slightest contact chips or scratches the wheels..

If I were you I'd look at getting them powdercoated.

Ive tried DIY. As above - never again. not as cheap as you might think as hard to get good finish.
Paid £40 a rim to get a professional job done on some BMW wheels and they looked brand new afterwards. Not cheap but i got what i paid for. Id hate to get them done on the cheap to find they start to peel after a few months.
