Hi there some of you may have followed this from me having problems spraying my mini and having the paint crack well thats all sorted, i have now applied the lacquer and got a little problem that my gun seemed to give up right at the end and started dripping and has put big blobs in the first coat of lacquer, i have continued to apply a 2nd coat now im not sure wether to rub the blobs down now then apply more lacquer (got loads left over anyway) or apply more lacquer and then leave to harden and flat and buff out i will probably colour sand anyway but didnt know if it was a good idea to get rid of the blobs now or later on any advice welecome Greg
Personally I'd get rid of them now, but I've never done it before
Always sort problems before continuing...
I'd leave the paint to cure a bit then sand the 'blobs' down with some 1500 wet and dry (must be on a sanding block) then buff up with some rubbing compound, you'd never know they'd been there
