Hi
I have sadly realised that i am now spending more and building less on the locost. Over the last two months I have been stuck for some garage space
with power to enable me to weld the roll cage in. So it seems I have become obsessed with buying. Exhaust system, sump, rocker cover, electronic
dizzy, uprated oil pump, fuel pump all for the 1300 crossflow which still has the cylinder head waiting to be fitted. I have just bought a 1000cc
Yamaha Fazer engine off the bay on an impulse (it seemed cheap at £400). Looking at other peoples posts over the past 6 months I could see some people
changing direction and buying/ selling becoming a habit. I now realise I too have the disease! I still dont have the means to weld the cage and dont
know which engine to fit. Any comments, cures or advise welcome.
Joe
Can I send you a shopping list please, should save me a fortune
Cheers
Rich

Hand over the car parts buying power to SWMBO and watch your spending very suddenly decline
Mr Whippy
SWMBO was divorced hence no garage, however it is worth it for the sheer joy of coming home and seeing my lounge full of car parts. If I could get the
chassis through the front door i would be welding in there too. I have even been removing rust from calipers in the kitchen with a bucket of soda and
a battery charger, it feels so wrong but i love it!!

I went through a "spend - build - remove - spend again" phase - I'd put something on the car, look at it for a few days and decide that
it didn't look right, take it off and get something else.
In the end I decided to stop it and get the car on the road!

get off the internet for a week, and work on your car instead. you will see the progress you make and no internet means less looking at amazing cars and wanting one....
