158,000 on the clock and probably does about 2mpg with your precious £1.50 a litre fuel, and with a vauxhall badge on it too...

Probably about on the money.

More miles than the Starship Enterprise, more drivers than the average golf club, but it will have been well maintained.

morcus - 5/5/11 at 08:59 PM

Be a cool car to have though, you won't get much better in the way of a sleeper for the money.

About on the money I say. Expensive tax on a VXR though. This is 1k cheaper and the same car really....

Apart from the "slight" drop in power from 280 to 208bhp The Elite's are ok, but the VXR is quite a bit quicker.

indeed, the vxr has twin turbos i believe.

I want a new car for work you see, we'll be the fastest kitchen installers in the north Just a shame that one is so far away. Theres a place in sowerby bridge doing ex police which is nice and close.

JoelP - 6/5/11 at 07:41 AM

on the point of fuel consumption, i would be using it for work so id have the vat back and its a legitimate expense, both purchase of the car and the fuel, so you save the tax and NI too. So a litre of super effectively costs about 80p

JoelP - 6/5/11 at 05:26 PM

insurance comes in at £850 inc business use, which aint bad in my books!

Its either something like this, a t5, or a legacy turbo.

beaver34 - 6/5/11 at 05:44 PM

police cars get looksed after well though despite there job and how many drivers use them, we supply south yorkshire police ford parts and there all genuine parts fitted and they want for nothing

PAUL FISHER - 6/5/11 at 07:35 PM

Looks like alot of car for 3 grand to me

JoelP - 6/5/11 at 07:43 PM

just found road tax is £445 or something on cars like this if registered after 23 march 2006.

but still, sweet for the money.
