Hi there,
Just after some megasquirt advice. I have a 1300 crossflow which I want to upgrade. I've got a an edis system to go on it and will be putting bike carbs on it to start with but later on converting to fuel injection. Which Megasquirt version do you recommend and what is your opinion of the edis system?

Also have a cosworth turbo, opinions on Megasquirt for that one also or should I just bung in a chip in the ecu.

Finally do you supply component only kits or are yours all fully built. I am an electronics technician so building my own would not be a problem for me.

Many thanks.

That is a generous offer.

Any top-tips on fueling algorithms for a turbo charged ITB fitted bike engine?

Speed density doesn't cut it, blended might help but I am worried about how I can tune it. I have heard that alpha-N with MAP multiply can do the job.

Sage-like advice always appreciated.

Matt

p.s. I've got MS2 daughter card and am running ignition and fueling.

I have plans for a mad experimental (?) 8 injector system on a silvertop zetec, four original ones, + the four that are in the bike throttles.

The aim being to bring the ITB injectors in only at high revs,......

So will be in touch nearer the time to discuss how best to do it.

thanks for the generous offer!

the real question is do you have access to a rolling road? and if so where is said rolling road located?

They seem to, and they're in Telford.

Nice to know people are starting to really support MS over here too, half the roads I called wouldn't touch MS when I first started tuning my 3SGTE.

Hello Matt

I run my turbo blade engine on ITB's with MAP only.

I data logged the MAP readings then grouped the table around the most used values which solved most of my tuning issues.
