Having missed the last 3 months free listing weekends despite having two cars' worth of bits, I thought I'd post on here to remind everyone
that tomorrow and Sunday is free listing!
Obviously if you're buying rather than selling, you can expect higher end prices for the next 10 days or so.
Bollocks, just listed a car on there!
Thats two free listing weekend in a row now.
is it not a bit of a blag, free listing, since you still get the final value fees? Ie not necessarily much cheaper?
'a penny saved' and all that..

To illustrate why prices are higher:
I've got dozens of random bits of trim of BMW - as it might not sell for ages, I would normally list it for 99p as it's free. On free
listing weekends, I'll put them all for a fiver. If a person needs the bits, they will pay a fiver for it.
There are lots of items that have a market value of 5, 10, 20 quid or whatever, but only if the person who wants one is on ebay the week that
you're listing. Otherwise, it won't even sell for 99p.
Many people will list stuff for a higher price this weekend as they know they don't lose anything if it doesn't sell. At which point they
are more likely to list it for 99p or a lower price after their Free Listing runs out, especially if by then they really want rid of it.
Means I can list items a resonable staring value, and if no sale I'm not out of pocket
Is tha the same for Cars?
