What's this called?? (Blanking outlets)

Right, either these bits are very hard to find or I'm having a brainblock as to what they are called!

I've got a 8mm outlet on a fuel tank that I don't need. I want a 8mm rubber blank to go over it (to be clamped with a hose clamp). I.e. like a fuel hose but only a couple of inches long, and closed on one end.

Can anybody show me where I can get one of these?

It's just to have a neater solution than using a bolt clamped inside a hose

Put an 8mm brass plug in the outlet if its threaded.

The only thing I can think off is the rubber blanked off thingy that goes on a Pinto water pump.
Most people use a short bit of hose with a bolt clamped in.

I just used a short bit of hose with a bolt clamped in it.
my reasoning is that nobody is ever going to see it.

I might have one of the pinto waterpump blanks if you want it.

Andy.

Those are the only blanks like you describe that I can think of. However I doubt they're fuel safe.

I have the same problem and I'll just use a short length of fuelpipe with a plug (bolt) in it.
