I would like to remove all of the underseal from my Camaro so I can see exactly whats going on underneath and make any future repairs a damn sight
easier, with the intension of POR-15'ing the underside then waxoiling rather than reapplying underseal anywhere.
So whats the easiest way to do it? Bearing in mind I can't flip the car over
Thanks

It's a horrible, horrible job. Blow lamp and paint scraper in difficult spots and wire brush cup on the grinder for flat panels worked for me.
It took a week of nights to do my mk2 XR2.

Try using a sharp wood chisel without any heat to start with. I usually find it the most effective method if the underseal is old and dry. Best of luck ,it's not a nice job and be careful , hot underseal hurts and sticks to bare skin!
Thanks for the advice. I know all about hot underseal having done my fair share of welding on old cars. I think its only had one coat, so will see how
easy it comes off. Going to have a look at the weekend and see what it's like.
