Just came across this guys page, he appears to be right on the money with his replicas, they look very very good.

The Mk 1 Golf cabriolet always reminds me of a Kubelwagon.

Could be... it's on a disused petrol forecourt?

I've been meaning to ask if you knew anything about it every time I pass it!

Some monsters in there!

Sounds like Jacksons, http://g.co/maps/vtemk

That's it! Looking a bit light-stocked when that photo was taken!

Looks like there could be a seriously pissed off bidder who only gets a bissiness card for his dosh. Ha ha.

Call me cynical if you like, but I think the two 'Willys' look too good to be true.

I hope the seller gets reported. eBay is for auctions and classified sales; placing an auction as a advert for your services is not on IMO.

myke pocock - 20/9/11 at 08:37 AM

Aint that just as bad as an advert for a dust cap if your breaking a car. Same thing realy.

scootz - 20/9/11 at 08:39 AM

I agree that these types of ads have no place on eBay, but WTF are people doing by placing bids on it!?

It's not as if he hasn't made it bleeding obvious!

Maybe one of the "I'm in Eastern Europe, we can use ebay's escrow service in complete safety" scammers can't read English as well as they should?

True, he does mention it twice.
