Swirl Mark removal - Hints, tips & tricks

Hi everyone!

Its getting to a point where the swirl marks in my paintwork are beyond frustrating. I can pretty much valet my car to perfection, but this is the next stage I need to tackle for perfect flawless paint work.

Just curious about swirl mark removal in car paintwork. Would you recommend a specialist or something I can practice and learn to do with a bit of time and patience eg a mechanical polisher ?

I tend to look the other way when getting into my car so I don't see them. One less thing to worry about that doesn't really matter anyway.

I cant let it go, makes the car look horrible in the sunlight. Slightly OCD, but hey. Cheers for the info guys.

1500,2000, G3 then G10, then glazing compound. And make sure you have plenty of clear on it so you don't go through. Last thing is plenty of layers of proper wax, not the modern silicate stuff, the old time Simoniz type genuine carnauba wax stuff.
