Bearing needed - odd size - locostbuilders cleverness req

I am dong a project which requires new bearings.

The current bearing is a 6301 RS (12mm bore, 37mm OD)

I need to replace this with the same size bearing but with a 15mm bore - I have searched and can't find anything to fit...

So, locostbuilders - what can I do as I am completely stumped!

It's a bit narrower than the 12mm you're after. Can you not change the spindle size?

Looks like you are going to have to make a sleeve for it. Haven't checked Koyo yet, but if SKF and FAG don't make it, it usually does not exist.

Standard bearing sizes are defined in DIN 625-1 fwiw.

internal or external sleave? Not sure which is best or even how to get one made - turned on a lathe as some form of "top hat" shape?

I bought something called "glacial bearings" once which took up a mismatch of 1mm on a bearing id, they were a tophat shaped and I guess very fine tolerance/hardness. They may do such things for the od too? Sourced them through work so no idea where they came from.

I have just bought a new swingar that uses 15mm axle over the 12mm one that was bodged on the last one - however the idea of using the 12mm axle in the new swingarm could work - I hae bough 15mm to 12mm reducers for wheel bearings, they are a few quid off ebay - if I cut these down I could run the 12mm axle in the 15mm swingarm - then buying the replacement bearings becomes MUCH easier.
