Cobra prang ( Penzance )
bonzoronnie - 26/5/12 at 07:48 PM

Spotted this one outside Penzance heliport late this afternoon

Hit the centre barrier, span round taking several sections of the heliports perimeter fence out & ended up facing the wrong way.

I hope the occupants were ok ( I think so )

Apparently they had been driving in a rather spirited fashion for most of the afternoon.

Take it steady chaps & enjoy some great summer open top driving.

I saw the aftermath when coming back from Helston, they closed the road for a long time - doesn't bode well for the occupants

I predict a Riot - 26/5/12 at 08:37 PM

Hope no one was hurt but oh that's not going to be cheap to rebuild.

Must have been quite severe as it appears to have smashed the rotors off the helicopter!

Don't think anyone said helicopter crashes are funny. I have lost more friends/colleagues/neighbours through helicopters accidents than anyone should have to.

You need to lighten up a bit, crap happens. Maybe you should read your own footnote.

I seem to remember people being offended by your avatar, but have you changed it, NO. Weapons should only be pointed at what you are going to shoot, and if you pointed one at me you would need to shoot me or suffer the consequence of making such a threat.
