As per the title, I'm a bit of a rem with a computer so it has taken me since Sunday to do this and now I've finally worked it out, although
its worse quality than the actual recording but hey ho, here it is, including the bit I bang it in neutral lol:
ASBO Llandow
I'll put another one up which is rearward facing tomorrow night
EDIT: as per the youtube description, it doesn't get a move on until about 2 1/2 mins in

Looks good. Did you have any footaage of the first session when you where following me?
Yeah I did it's from the yellow car though with my mate driving not this one, I'll stick it up in due course, but they do take hours and
hours to upload
As you can see mine was lapping pretty quickly, in the bid above there's 100kg of bloke in with me too
The best bit was the first time I took the wife around in it, she didn't say a word and had a dry mouth at the end of the session, if only she
was always that quiet hahahaha

I wasn't far off that, ended up doing 44s and 45s when I put slicks on and took the 048s off, 2 up as well that's pretty cool.
Here's another vid, rear view this time, stuck behind traffic for a while and someone who wouldn't let me by but then someone spun in front
which cleared a gap and we were off, scaring the wife again haha
ASBO Llandow REAR View
When I get home I'll upload the one with you in it, promise
I'm impressed - especially how you went hammering through the chicane.
good footage,
but i have one query, during that footage there was no rear end action, so you've either job lots of rear grip or your just not pushing hard
enough
All the best
Like the footage mate. What camera would that be taken with?

FAO JeffW!!!!
It worked, at last:
Yellow Asbo 1st outing with JeffW in front!!!
Nice driving, great video's enjoyed watching those, the picture and sound quality are very good, what engine are you running.
Thanks!
They both have identical gsxr1000 k2 engines which are completely standard, they are 160bhp.
Is this car going to be commercially available?
Looks very interesting and seems to be a lot quicker than most, have you a website with any more information?
I have already ordered a back copy of December 2010 kitcar magazine with a feature on your car
Cheers

Unfortunately not, the guy who built them, who is in the mag feature, just did it for himself but got 2 sets of tubes bent just incase.
I had the other set, but then he decided to sell the car and build something else. I bought it off him and part ex'd him my steel and a new quaife diff back, but he was so dissapointed to have got rid he built himself another one.

Also the damping and shocks seem to be very well set, the car just soaks up the bumps and as said looks like it handles very well. I'm impressed looks great
I don't have any info to hand and the car isn't kept at my place unfortunately as I keep the robin hood here.
It was weighed at 448Kg IIRC so it's relatively light, I'll measure it when I get chance though (sizes not weight)
It just seems to work somehow, the guy who built it has been building racecars for a while so knows what he's doing but other than that I
can't comment.
It's got rally design locost wishbones on the front, sierra uprights with wilwoods, the rear is totally fabricated wishbones and uprights.
It's made of 2mm wall tube and runs a solid mounted gsxr 1000 lump mid engined with a quaife QBA7R reversing diff, all that is mounted as inboard
as possible with the driveshafts pointing rearward to the wheels. It's got a mk2 escort rack and a small ally fuel tank up front. It runs GAZ
coilovers all round.
It's not actually that low as it's a "road" car, it's not as low as all the severnesques that were there. It's a good
size though which must help as it's very neutral and comfy as hell on the road, nothing like a bone jarring ride, I do back the shocks off 2
clicks each for the road though.
Cheers
Stott
Thanks Stott for the car information,
The wheelbase is the one that particularly interests me, it may or may not be in the back copy I have ordered we will see, if it is I will let you
know so you don't waste your time
Cheers
David
Nah it's not in there, I've had that issue since it was featured and read it a few times. My bonce is even in one pic going around the track
in it
I'll let you know when I get round to measuring it/or the yellow one as I might see that first.

I say completely std, but they do have sump baffles in them, but they are mounted as they are in the bike.
I am now lucky enough to drive this fabulous car!!
It is every bit as awesome as it looks - and then some !!!!
That engine sounds great as it reaches the limiter. Is it an R1?
