I have a Mazda 6 and have to change it monthly with me using bio diesel from used veg oil it's not too difficult and should take 15 mins max. Put a cloth under car for spillage.

My car ran in new bio diesel for 20,000 miles on original filter and it's only 95p a litre :-)

Put a tub of redex in a tank before you change the filter to clean out the fuel line n injectors. Then change.

That's what a Mazda guy told me to do.

Mazda 6 2007 121hp average 8.3 ltr per 100 miles 52mpg
8p per mile.

Oil starvation today on my nada caused crank shaft damage.

Caused by the pikup strainer being clogged.

Any who if you have a mazda 6 rf engine. Do an oil change ever 10k plus get the strainer cleaned up after 40k

Also check the oil level as tip can raise with diesel in oil n knacker the car.

Lovely car but needs a good eye on it all.

My damage was caused by the injector seals which are rubbish....

Ps mazda 6 fuel filter change is easy if you....

Remove battery amp. Move it forward a bit... Then behind the battery is the filter. Just un bolt the fuel filter holder at the left this will enable you to change the angle to 10pm. The unbolt the two 12mm bolts on the top of the filter and remove the two pipes. Now slide it out. Remove the top n bottom n put on the new filter.....

Put the plastic bottom on the new filter. N almost fill with diesel. The put the top on the filter. Screws on hand tight..... Slide it back in place you may lose a little fuel.....

Attach the pipes....

Refit the 10mm bolt holding the filter holder. I used a long 10mm socket with litte bar on it....

Pump the fuel pump on top of the filter until you don't head fuel dropping in the canister.

Then start ye engine.

May take a little while.

If more than 5 secs then pump a bit longer on the filter.

Done.....

Ps reset the injectors as well if you know how....

Piece f wire into vcm unit connector and earthed....
