Anybody else spot something a bit dodgy about this ad ? ## BREAKING ## Robin Hood S7 kit car 1.6 Pinto engine, tonneau, GBS zero, indy | eBay

The V5 ain't coming with the car... it's clearly needed for something else!

David Jenkins - 9/9/12 at 09:50 PM

I read it as "No, I won't sell the V5 separately".

Could go either way really.

It's obviously registered so you could buy the car, and then apply to DVLA for the V5. If you have a pressing need to own an old Robin Hood and annoy the seller that is

Slimy38 - 10/9/12 at 10:27 AM

I read that as someone has gone to him direct asking to buy the V5, so he's put it as a specific exclusion?

rdodger - 10/9/12 at 12:02 PM

I don't see any reason to break it unless the vendor has another use for the identity.

Well apart form the fact it's an old Robin Hood :-)

I asked him

quote:
You say 'no V5 for sale' does that mean you won't sell the V5 separately from the chassis, or that the V5 has already been sold?

and he responded

quote:
no V5 means its not for sale at all.

David Jenkins - 10/9/12 at 04:27 PM

In that case - dodgy!
