I stopped off at a local boot fair to buy a new jockey wheel for my trailer ... And I found these!
Webers
£6 for a pair of 40DCOE Webers!! He wanted a tenner, but I persuaded him it was a rip off.
Then I got them home and realised that there are a few bits missing. Can I get spares? And is there some kind of exploded view so I can work ouit what
goes where?
Or do I weigh them in for scrap and get some of my £6 back??
ebay them off in bits. Probably far too much grief to rebuild them. Chokes etc and tops should all fetch money, you may get a few beers profit
Look a tad fooked to me!!! You could always list the better bits on ebay and would probably make you six quid back and a bit more as well.
Have you got one butterfly winged jet cover?
£3 posted and i will have it!
steve
£6 looks a bargain to me
I have a book on weber carbs
in it are several exploded diagram assembly/destruction info
can scan it at the weekend if it would be any help.

And I'll have the other
Steve - if you're desperate, you can have my other one.
hahaha
So you "lost one as well"
i did just have a large penny washer with a lock nut on top,
Steve
Depends what the internal condition is really ?
For example What are the seats like for the mixture screws ?
If the internal condition is bad, as said above sell the bits off for spares
You can get the spares still and the rebuild kits are about 20 quid each if they're salvageable
