Antifreeze coolant ripp off

Has anybody noticed how ready mixed coolant is increasingly labelled by all most all manufacturers as antifreeze and only mentions it is a 50% solution in very small letters and proper antifreeze concentrate is getting more difficult to source. this wouldn't be so bad but a 5 litre container of pre-mixed coolant is being sold retail at the price 5 litres of concentrate sold ar a couple of years ago,

you can get 100% from unipart no problem and it cost peanuts.

Not realy noticed it with a/freeze but I have with screen wash fluid.

I had a phone calls from TPS (VW Trade parts) with "offers" on screen wash at a "special price for 100Lt of screen wash". So I asked "Where the hell am I supposed to put 20x5lt cans?"

TPS... "Oh thats alright, it comes in case of 4x5lt cans and you dilute it"

Me... "So it's a price for 20lts of screen wash?"

TPS... "No it makes 100lts"...

last year I did buy a big 15 gallon drum of concentrated screenwash, just great and lasted almost the full year with two cars )

15 gallon!! blimey 5l of concentrated will last me 30k

It's because people will buy it, and most people have no idea how much screen wash or anti freeze costs.

I had noticed that OP, and it annoyed the s**t out of me when i had a leaky radiator.
