Anybody know if the the tank unit injection pump & on float unit on a Corsa C (3 cylinder model can be removed from above ie without dropping the tank. I have to look at a friend's with a U/S fuel gauge reading full that I need to look at.

No need to get dirty at all.

Simply remove the back seat, you'll find the circular plastic cover underneath, simply prise it out.
Usual hammering with a screwdriver will rotate the locking ring, you'll find the sender on a plastic clip on the side of the pump housing.

I had scribbled down the resistance values somewhere, but I'm still in cardboard box hell.... let me know if you need a search...

Not sure about the Corsa but some cars with plastic tanks can distort when the tank unit is removed if the tank is full causing leaks when tank unit is replaced, Renault Clio's for instance.
